Birthday girl!

Hi Abby! This weekend we celebrated your 3rd birthday with a party at ma and pa's house. In attendance: mama doris, papa randy, granny edna, aunt lesia, cousin dalton, destin, aiden, shelly, matt, ava, gave, and addy. Your favorite part of the day was your birthday song- you loved everyone singing to you! I have ben asking you for about a month what you wanted for your birthday, and you would only say 'a blue muffin'. You and Ava loved playing in ma and pa's clubhouse and slide. You loved the cards, saying "I got mail" which I assume was a reference to Blue's Clues!

Matt and Shelly built you the coolest tent ever. I will get a picture of that soon!

You also got: lots of cute clothes and pajamas, outdoor toys including a ping pong paddle set, a dora director's chair, a dora tent, an "ipad" like Ma's, art supplies, princess legos, puzzles. I am excited to get to play with you and your new toys!

Hi Abby! In exactly one week, you will turn 3! Time is flying, and you are so big and smart and funny. We had a great weekend! Dad had to work so it was just you and I mostly- we watched scooby doo, played outside, went to the Y. Daddy got you a set of kid jewelry and you loved the clip-on earrings "like mama's". You are a fun kid, I love you so much. There are times when you seem older than me, especially whn you're telling me "It's not funny, momma" and I know you are right... But can't help myself. I made the mistake of letting out a small little burp and you said "excuse you, piglet" and that is still cracking me up! I have been asking you what you want for your birthday, and you always say "a muffin." I think it is both incredibly cute and wise of you. Material things are the bane of our existence (in excess) and I hope you continue on a path that is free of all of the stuff that advertisers want you to think you need. I will always try my hardest to let you formulate your own ideas and opinions. No matter what. But I can't stress enough that spending all of your time working to pay for things you don't need creates more problems than solutions. Brands exist as status symbol- and the only one you need is your beautiful smile. Treasure nature, and enjoy it often. I am so proud of you, you are my best friend. You are wise beyond your years, and people have been shocked for about a year that you are only 2. 

Another great weekend

Hi Abby! The weather is getting so nice and we had so much fun this weekend. Friday, after I picked you up from Lois' house we wentto Best Buy to get grandma a cd for her birthday, and you liked playing with all of the games and 3-d glasses. We got you a fish from petland (you just wanted a 'baby' one), and then to target and you got a hello kitty ball. On saturday, we all went to ma and pa's for her 51st birthday party. You got to see edna, papaw randy and doris too. On sunday, we took daddy's canoe to Brookville lake and you had so much fun!! You played in the water, played in the sand, took a nap in the canoe!

Fun weekend!

Hi Abby! You are having a really fun weekend! Dad was off all weekend so yesterday we went to the zoo with matt and shelly (and kids) and today we are at the magic castle fun center and you are having a great time! There are slides and things to climb, and we are getting ready to go play some putt putt!

Later that day:
You got bored with putt putt pretty quickly and liked walking along the rocks more than the game. After the fun center, we went to cox arboretum where we all hd lots of fun. We are all very tired, just dropped aiden off at his moms and are heading home. You are already asleep:)

I miss you!

Hi Abby! I am missing you a lot today! Daddy sent me a cute picture of you with a ninja turtle mask and pjs on... And I want to come back home and play with you all day! Dad's off today and I have late class so there is a chance that the picture will be the only time I get to see you today, and I am very sad for that! I will probably sneak in and peek in on you if you are asleep, I miss you! I am glad the weekend is almost here- and I get to spend a few days in a row hanging out with you in pjs!

Hi baby! We had a pretty relaxing weekend. Dad worked all weekend, and since my car is still broken we didnt leave the house much!

It was amazingly warm for this time of year, it got into the low 60's on saturday. You got to play outside on your swing an slide for a while as I cleaned up the yars! I miss you so much- I cant wait to come get you!!

Hi baby! Today was a long day! Since my car is broken, you and I have had to hang out in my office in the evenings but you've done really well! You like to ride the elevator, and love making trips to the snackmachine! We have to get up extra early tomorrow so I am goingto try to get some sleep. I wish that you were cuddled up next to me- you are just a few feet away though watching Dora and hoprfully getting to sleep yourself soon. Goodnight sweetie- i love you so much! New years eve

Hi Abby! We spent new years eve with Shelly, matt and family. You got to sled for the first time and you were so cute. You wore your new snowsuit. You slept great- even with your runny nose. Ive had such a great 12 days in a row off with you, i am so sad to have to go back to work. I need to start a business from home- i would love getting to stay home with you everyday! Tomorrow will be your first day back at Lois's since Nina is gone to Florida. Time will fly by an you'll have your nina back soon!
